Enjoy a leisurely ride along the paved portion of the Firefly Trail to the Oglethorpe Co. line parking area. Cross over Hwy 77 and enter Bairdstown gravel road immediately. Around nine miles, make a very sharp right-hand turn onto Bryant Road, and ride all the way into the tiny town of Maxeys, where you can pick up another mile of paved Firefly Trail or go on to more gravel routes. Lovely farmland, rolling hills and old homesteads hidden in the woods.
